3rd WORLD CONGRESS ON DISASTER MANAGEMENT (WCDM)
Dr.S. Ananda Badu, the President- (Disaster Management Initiatives and Convergence Society)
DMICS invited the NAPSIPAG for the collaboration to 3rd WORLD CONGRESS ON DISASTER
MANAGEMENT (WCDM). This conference is scheduled to be held from November 07 to 10, 2017, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. .
Main theme of the conference is "Building Resilience and Adaptation for Sustainable Development"
In order to achieve, the above main theme the 3rd WCDM envisages harmonizing the following Five
global frameworks finalized in the year 2015, namely:
1. Sendal framework for disaster risk reduction (SF –DRR- 2015- 2030)
2. UN Sustainable Development Goals 2015- 2030 (SDG)
3. Paris agreement on climate Change Adaptation
4. Agenda for Humanity (one humanity Grand Bargain)
5. New Urban Agenda 2016 2030 (NUA 2016 2030)
Submission of Abstract (Max. 200 words) April 15, 2017
Acceptance of Abstracts April 30, 2017
Submission of Full Length Papers (Max 6,000 words) June 15, 2017
Submission of Posters July 30, 2017
The organizers of the 3rd WORLD CONGRESS ON DISASTER MANAGEMENT" welcome research
papers from the NAPSIPAG members as well. Hence, kindly submit your abstract/s and paper/s on
or before 15th April 2017.
Authors, who already sent abstract/s and paper/s for the proposed last year NAPSIPAG conference
( 2016) could be resent to the 3rd World Congress on Disaster Management.

Kindly note that, NAPSIPAG is not in a position to fund authors for the conference due to unavoidable reasons.
